Veritas Christian Study Abroad offers students the opportunity to study and dialogue peacefully about major religious issues in a land where many have gone to war in the name of religion. Veritas in Spain will challenge the way students think and live as global citizens.
There are those in the Western world who think that religion is losing its importance in our modern world. One look at the world around us will tell us otherwise. Though secularism has changed the religious landscape in Europe and North America, the growth of religious zeal and participation on other continents is staggering. It takes only one glance at the daily news to see that religious issues have everything to do with making sense of our shrinking global community.
At Veritas, we are unashamedly Christian, believing in the divine revelation of God through His incarnate Son, Jesus, and through His inspired Word, the Bible. We hope all peoples will give fresh and thorough examination to our faith, so we choose in turn to enter into the rich study of other faiths. Through the study of religious history and theology, our capacity to enter into relationships with others will be enhanced.
