This is almost certainly not what the friend was referring to. This painter paints animals in the style of old masters. 

Negrobilia is understood to be pretty much just racist items depicting black face caricatures, sambos, picanniny characters, and black minstrelsy on signs, children's books, salt and pepper shakers, cookie jars, mechanical and regular piggy banks, music boxes, and anything else on which they could slap offensive depictions of Black people. Some people collect these itens for historical and educational reasons. Considering that Whitney is her son, I doubt Patricia is collecting these items for those reasons. Whitney has said some sexist, homophobic, classist, and vaguely racially bigoted things. Additionally, the only person on this show who has been shown talking to any person of color where they weren't ordering food is Cameran. I side eye all of these assholes when it comes to things like this.
